This blog has been quiet for far too long and I thought I had better post something! I am literally drowning in photos, that's how behind I am. Between spring cleaning at home, moving my website to new servers, a new vehicle, testing tons of new cameras and lenses, trade shows at work and more, I am so behind with processing photos that I don't know where to begin! The above photo was taken with a new Canon EOS-5D Mark III and the 17mm TS-E at Granville Island.
One quick note... I have removed some "spam" comments from my blog. When people make a generic "nice post" or "good info" comment with links to market their own websites or services, sometimes the same links from seemingly two different people, well that irks me. I have no issues with criticisms or complaints about my postings, just when posts are obvious spam postings to try and drum up hits.
Now, back to photos and being behind... Anyway, my website galleries have not been updated since 2009 and I am looking at all my 2010 and 2011 photos, wondering where to start, let alone working on what I have already shot in 2012. Last year in 2011, between everything I shot in and around Vancouver, I have all my Germany trip photos... below is a shot from Burg Hohenzollern, taken with my Panasonic GH2 and 7-14mm zoom...
Next up are all the photos from my trips south in 2010, the southwest trip where I went all the way down to Texas... the following photo taken with my EOS-7D and Tokina 11-16mm zoom in White Sands National Monument in New Mexico...
Then there is the early spring trip down to southern California, the following shot being taken with the same combination as the last one in Joshua Tree National Park...
And then what about all those photos I took during Vancouver's 2010 Winter Olympics? I have tons of shots there too! Here is one taken with my EOS-7D and EF-S 15-85mm zoom...
Anyway, you get the idea. It's not that I have given up blogging, I've just been super busy. And I do intend on updating my website with new image galleries for 2010 and 2011 in the next few months although my intentions will be interrupted with a trip to Utah in May where I will, of course, be taking many new photos too!
I will leave this posting with one new gallery of images from a trip up the Fraser Canyon a few weekends ago, where I was testing Fujifilm's excellent new X-Pro1 and where I also shot a fair bit with my infrared converted Panasonic GF2...
